In 1996, she graduated from Donetsk National Medical University named after M. Gorky. From 1996 to 1998, she completed her internship at the city endocrinology department of Central City Clinical Hospital No. 3 in Donetsk. From 1998 to 2000, she worked as an endocrinologist at the outpatient clinic of Central City Clinical Hospital No. 3 in Donetsk; from 2001 to 2003 – as an endocrinologist at City Hospital No. 20 in Donetsk; since 2009 – as an endocrinologist at the Regional Traumatology Hospital and the Donetsk Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics in Donetsk. Total work experience – 24 years, professional experience – 16 years.

Petrychenko O. M. is engaged in the diagnosis and treatment of:

• type 1 and type 2 diabetes mellitus, gestational diabetes mellitus;
• thyroid pathology (diffuse toxic goiter, chronic autoimmune thyroiditis, hypothyroidism, nodular goiter, acute and subacute thyroiditis, and other thyroid diseases), including thyroid ultrasound;
• obesity and other endocrine disorders.
